San Gimignano

San Gimignano is a town in Tuscany whose most distinctive feature is a series of tall stone towers, built in the middle ages. Only 14 of the original 72 towers remain standing. We found it nearly impossible to find parking in the town, and eventually had to park quite far from the center (not before we tried to enter its medieval streets and scraped the side of our car).
