Florence

One of the famous attractions in Florence is Buboli Gardens. However, we managed to miss them: as it turns out, they're closed on the last Monday of each month, and of course that's when we wanted to see them (and it was also our last day in Florence). To add insult to injury, exceedingly heavy rain began as we were contemplating the shut gates to the Gardens. We had to wait just outside the doors to the Promised Land until it was safe to venture into the street.
